About Our CEO/President
Evang. Jonathan Greer was born again November 30, 2003 and sensed a call to ministry in April of 2004. He is a member of Gateway Worship Center, Pastor Kevin Truex Senior Pastor. He was ordained as a minister on July 18th 2007, through the Church of the Living God, the late Bishop David Drone being the presiding bishop and Pastor Eula Greer church overseer. Jonathan is a missionary by call; his mission field is MEN. He is the President/CEO of The MAN-UP MOVEMENT, a ministry to the family, specifically focusing on equipping and building healthy men (Mind, Body, Soul & Spirit) to reach their potential and lead their families into the Promised Land; transforming a culture and establishing generational fellowship with God for years to come. His vision is to help men MAN-UP to who they were designed to be and what they were destined to do. Jonathan is a family man having been married to his wife, Jessica, for six years, they have two sons, Jonathan David and Judah Allen. He believes that stronger men mean stronger families, stronger churches, stronger communities and stronger cultures. Jonathan believes that God is not concerned about his ability as He is his availability and that is what he tries to live out daily to the kids within his community. Just call him a BROTHER and a child of the most High God.
About our Service Team Leaders
Brother Darrell L. Merritt is an entrepreneur with an extensive background in accounting. He is the owner of DeMerits Accounting Group and is currently attending the University of Akron pursuing a Master’s Degree in Accounting at the George A. Devario School of Business Administration at The University of Akron. More importantly, Darrell is a soldier in the Army of the LORD. He works with different collaborations through LINKs Community Service Agency and has graduated from The Neighborhood Leadership Institute of Summit County sponsored by the United Way. During the summer of 2012, Brother Merritt met Brother Jonathan Greer and the Man-Up Movement. Led by an imperishable zeal to share the life of The Word of God and somehow help our families rebound from the lie of the enemy, Brother Darrell has connected with brothers to affect the city, state, nation and the world. It’s time to Man-Up! I was born for a time such as this. Thank you GOD for making me the person you want me to be!

The Ministerial Teams
Service Team (The worker bees)
A group of leaders who will come together to help spearhead projects and ministry services provided by The MAN-UP Movement that have been developed by the development team. The service team also gauges the pulse of the community in which we labor to help us better minister. The service team will be key teachers of D4D2, POP-Shop and Selah Retreats. These people will be the foot soldiers that have their feet to the ground and work to make sure that the meetings, conferences, workshops, etc. run smoothly.
Development Team (The idea people)
A group of leaders who will prayerfully consider the culture/society and will find out knowledge of witty inventions and God ideas that will help the furtherance of The MAN-UP Movement. These people will be praying people with gifts of discernment who are also knowledgeable about what is going on in our society and how we can infect it with the Love of Jesus. They will help to develop new teachings and programs that align with the ministry vision and mission.
Marketing Team (The planners and pushers)
A group of leaders who will be responsible for branding the ministry and making the MAN-UP Movement seen and sought after by those who the ministry has been created for. These people are the branders of the ministry, they will develop marketing schemes to help the movement grow and produce. These people will help to get the word out through Spirit Led Evangelism; flyers, social media, website, etc. This ministry team is key to helping The MAN-UP Movement multiply with co-laborers, volunteers, partners and supporters.
